Woodlands A win Inter Schools Football
Both our football teams made easy work of the early rounds and progressed to the quarter finals. The A-team enjoyed a comfortable win over Leigh (5-0), whilst the B-team beat Hildenborough in a nail-biting penalty shoot out that went to sudden death! The team played really well with Harry (6W) pulling off some fine saves. This meant the two teams faced each other in the semi-final, with the A-team narrowly winning 1-0. Although disappointed, the B-team supported the A-team who went on to win the tournament 1-0, beating Sussex Road! David Challis(6W) scored the winner and Jack Roberts (6S) kept a clean sheet throughout! A great team performance!
